Jitaku: Home Kitchen

I want to show you where my family and I spent dinner time last Father’s Day.
And what a happy thing, too, because they had full reservations!
(Buti nakahabol pa kami!)

I’m just really happy that we have this little gastronomic gem in our neck of the woods!

JITAKU: HOME KITCHEN (literally ‘my house’ in Japanese) is a little house found in Cottonwood Street that also moonlights from time to time as one of the cozier, more affordable, and – dare I say it? – yummier Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. I love that fact that you literally just walk in a house, pass the gates, pass the garage, and into this sliding door that welcomes you into the restaurant proper.

Into this great gastronomic gem you go!

It’s not anything extravagant. The owner himself serves the food. I think his son cooks the goods.

My recommendations?

  • Salmon Sashimi
  • Uni Sashimi (of course)
  • Ni Tendon – for just P130 – We love this dish so much. What a gem!

The Jitaku sign outside the house!

So!

If you find yourself stranded in Greenwoods Executive Village (I usually just refer to it as “the province”), consider a trip to Cottonwood Street, where you will find this quaint little restaurant!

Have a happy day! ♥

I like being on the floor and crushing ice with my teeth. John 3:30 is a significant verse in my life.
